As long as I've known myself I've been quite the media junkie.
Schizophrenic are we now Captress?
*rolls eyes* Pay no attention to Colonel Smart-mouth. He's just upset because I caught him watching Peter Pan the other day.
You did what?! BWAHAHAHA! *rotfl*
And I suppose you think that no one noticed you watching Ice Age? Well think again Goblin King. We all know about your little cartoon obsession.
WHY YOU LITTLE (censored)
*small pause* Right then back to sanity! I love movies, books, music, and the occasional video game. Once I'm let loose in stores such as Half-Price Books, Barnes and Nobles, Game Stop, or Fry's it takes an armed police force to get me out. This expansive hobby has led to a numerous amount of fangirl-ism.
TV Series
Wolf's Rain
This is a great series for those who enjoy a good action/adventure story. 4 wolves are journeying through a world in chaos searching for paradise ( i.e a place where wolves rule). They are being pursued by different enemies who fear that if they reach their destination the world will end. Kiba, Tsume, Hige, and Toboe are lead to paradise by the Flower Maiden who in turn keeps getting captured by people who want to experiment on her. A great series for older teens or adults. Not recommended for anyone under the age of 16 due to a great amount of blood, violence, and language.
Ok now that I have that badly written summary out of the way I have to comment on my favorite character TSUME!!! (he's the one with the white hair and darker complextion). He's a grey wolf and a dedicated pain in the butt at the begginning but later softens up (AAAAWWWWW). I've always had a weak spot for the stand offish type of characters so naturally he became my favorite out of the pack. I also love the little pipsqeak Toboe who is rather attached to Tsume (much to Tsumes annoyance) after being rescued by him. He's just so dang cute! *huggles pup*
Anywho here are some links where you can watch the series online if you wish. Enjoy!
Note: The first link has the show in the original Japanese language with english subtitles. The second link has the first few episodes in an English dub if you prefer that over subtitles.

Avatar: The Last Airbender
Yes. I still watch cartoons thank you very much *flourish*. This series is about the boy Aang who is found by the brother/sister duo Sokka and Katara. He is said to be the avatar (the only one who can master all four elements of air, earth, water, and fire) and goes all over the world to perfect these abilities from different masters. In the meantime the Fire nation is waging war on everyone and trying to capture Aang for their dastardly plans. It sounds pretty dramatic but in reality its side splitting hilarious (for me anyways). Come on now. You know it sounds cool and you want to watch. Yes you! The 35yr old who is reading this. You're never to old for cartoons. So follow the link and enjoy!

Rurouni Kenshin
..............Oro? ^_^ I randomly picked up this amazing manga at the library and after reading a few of the books I found the anime online. Its SOOO good! The type of random humor splattered through the series is right up my alley and I've spent many a sleepless night with my sister watching numerous episodes and trying not to wake up the neighborhood with my insane giggle spasms.
Watch it online! Recommended for ages 16 and up.

Hunter X Hunter
I picked this series up at the library along with the Rurouni Kenshin series. This is more of an action/adventure story like Wolf's Rain but with a bit more comedy added in.....not to mention two adorable little boy hero's and an awesome bad guy.........did I just say that? O_o!!.................Aaaanyway I'm simultaneously reading the manga and watching the anime (I'm doing the same with Rurouni Kenshin) and I must admit that it's interesting to see the differences of the books and the tv series.
Watch Online! Ages 16 and up.

Mork and Mindy
A comedy series starring Robin Williams in his early acting career. Mork (Williams) is an alien sent to study earth. When he lands in his egg spaceship he befriends Mindy and hilarity is unleashed as Mork tries to fit into human society with her help. It's really funny to see all of the cheesy 70's-80's special effects that they used and of course Robin Williams is always amazing with his sense of humor.
There are 4 seasons and I've already watched 1-3....now if only they'll release the 4th one!! *makes strangling noises*
