I'm somewhat of a lazy artist and will only draw when the mood catches me (which sometimes doesn't happen for weeks and months on end). I have made up quite a collection over the years on various subjects and with different art medias. Presently I am trying my hand once again at anime which still manages to mock me with it's simplicity. Bloody perspective! I can always be appreciative of the different types of art out there (there is even some modern art I enjoy) but my favorite type is realism. I suppose it's because I'm a stickler for details. I long to be able to draw cartoon characters and anime but I usually over complicate the process and end up with something very different from my original intention. Woe is me! *dramatic flourish*
Must you really be so annoying. I'm starting to gray early with all this confounded rubbish about art. Besides who would be interested in your splattered scribblings of nonsense anyways?
I have to agree with you there Colonel. This is almost as enjoyable as watching paint dry.

Note: The little incident in the corner is referenced to a show called Ouran Host Club. See fanbase for more info.

above should give a better view. :)

Aria/Aqua
Muses: WOOOOOOOOOOW.
Akari (left) has been led all through town by a "Mars cat" (right) who turns out to be the president of the place were she wants to work. This picture represents exactly what Akari does after being given the shocking information about her strange companion. *sqeee* On a more critical note I realize that Akari's face is all jacked up. IT NOT MY FAULT!! THE COLORED PENCILS TRICKED ME!! BWAH!
Yahiko Myojin
HIS HEAD! IT'S TILTED!!! GAAAAAAAAAAAAH! *headdesk*
Just a little piccy I did for a little boy who helped out with the Annie show. : ) The character I drew is from Rurouni Kenshin.
Badger Lord
I'm an avid fan of Brian Jacques and all of his books. This picture is from his popular series Redwall. As far as the series goes there is only ever one Badger Lord at a time. These creatures are majestic and fierce. Truly a force to be reckoned with on the battle field! Unfortunately I never finished the picture as my art spasm flat-lined in the middle of it. Perhaps I will finish it in the near future.
Tink
This is Tinker Bell as she is portrayed in the book series Peter and the Starcatchers. This trilogy is a prequel to the original Peter Pan that tells the story of how everything in Neverland, and Neverland itself, came into being. Anywho in the book Tinker Bell was formed from an exotic bird on Neverland that was sprinkled with "starstuff" which subsequently turned the bird into a half human half bird creature which was dubbed the name "fairy". She was especially made for Peter by Teacher the head mermaid of the island. The picture of Tink in the book was so different for the average disney Tink that I was compelled to draw her in her more realistic form.
Mr. Tumnus
I was bored and decided to watch Chronicles of Narnia. Tumnus is one of my favorite characters. There was paper and a pencil at hand. The End.
Griffon
Griffons are always on my top list of amazing kick butt fantasy creatures. I plan on owning one as soon as they come into existence. So far progress is slow. Must speed up process somehow. *plots* This was also made after watching Chronicles of Narnia.
Javert the Faun
*pause for giggling* For those of you not familiar with the fabulous musical Les Miserables this is Police Inspector Javert. In this doodle he has switched places with Mr. Tumnus and looks a bit miffed at this unexpected predicament. I can only imagine what poor Tumnus is going through being dropped suddenly in the middle of the French Revolution. *inspiration*
Swamp Shadows
Just a doodle I did one day while browsing through an animal book. I really like the fog shadowing above.....it makes me happy. XD
Seraphim
My idea of the six winged angel (seraphim). This is rather a rough sketch and there are a few things that I want to fix (hands, flames, etc). I'm not really sure when I drew this......ah well. *shrugs*
Taggerung Dagger
This is a dagger wielded by the Taggerung (yet another character from the Redwall series). And look! It has color! *glee* The blade itself is to short for the handle but I was young when I drew this....SO THERE!!
Link from Zelda
I remember drawing this picture late at night with "Dream On" playing in the background. I'm not sure why but I'm rather attached to this particular picture. *grin*
Oh yes. Please bore us MORE with your sentimental mumbo jumbo.
I'm going to kill you now k. *chases*
Blue Eyes
This little beaut was made in school in my art class and I later entered it in the local county fair and won 2nd place in overall show *glee*. I wanted to give this kitty an out of the ordinary feature but not to drastic therefore he has blue eyes that don't really seem to have that much of a pupil. I really like the color contrast as well.
Zachariah the Prophet
Some of you may recognize this as the famous painting from Michelangelo. No I am not him. I have a book of his paintings and decided to make sketches of a few of them. Note: This was done freehand no tracing involved. I haven't traced anything since I was likkle. I love the little "x" wrinkle thing I did on the bottom left side of his cloak. That is my favorite part. : ))
View of Virginia
Just a little doodle I did while visiting my aunt and uncle in VA. This is the view from one of their windows.
Separation of Light and Dark
This is the first Michelangelo sketch I did. I showed this to my little sister after I was done and the first thing she said was " Why does his arm look like bread?". *epic fail + headdesk*
Ferret
Yay! It's colored! I used colored pencils to do this one. I used an animal book for reference. Aaww don't ya just wanna pick him up and squeeze and cuddle him!!
Geo Bookshelf
*shakes head* This is the result of to much geometry and extreme boredom. I actually really like this as it is my first piece of modern type art.
The nameless things
Something else I did in art class. I didn't know what to call these things so I never named them. Kinda kinky little things doncha think?
Pirate Plaque
*tear* I don't have this piece any more. I took pottery for a year with an awesome teacher and she helped me with some of the details. I believe I was rather obsessed with Pirates of the Caribbean at the time this was created. *goes shifty eyed*
